Schumacher | Dragon Embroidery

Dragon Embroidery depicts fire-breathing dragons and clouds worked in a variety of textural stitches onto a linen ground, a mid-scale chinoiserie pattern with both decorative presence and tactile depth. The embroidery gives the cloth a hand and drape that plain weave cannot achieve, and the design has the narrative quality of a scene rather than a repeat.

Made in India from sixty-two per cent cotton and thirty-eight per cent polyester, it is 135 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 40 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 67 centimetres. Cold washing is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and is available in two colourways.
