Schumacher | Dragonflies

Dragonflies is a matelassé weave in which small, stylised insects are quilted into the surface of the cloth, creating a subtle, touchable texture. The design is modest in scale and reads as an all-over pattern, the raised relief catching light gently. Its double width makes it particularly well suited to bedding, where seams can be avoided.

Woven in Italy from cotton and viscose, it is 280 centimetres wide with repeats of 15 by 18 centimetres. Dry washing is specified. The cloth is suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and its width and construction make it especially appropriate for bedspreads and larger soft furnishings.
