Durant Embroidery is a medium-scale geometric worked in a nubbly bouclé yarn that is couched invisibly onto a linen ground, so the pattern appears to float above the cloth. The contrast between the smooth linen and the textured yarn gives the design a tactile, almost three-dimensional quality.
Made in Italy from linen with wool, viscose and polyester, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 15-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the embroidered surface adds quiet interest without overwhelming the form.
