Eastbury Manor Print is a tree-of-life design drawn from a 1930s hand-block print in Schumacher's archive, its branches populated by fanciful birds and animals rendered in the rich palette of traditional Indian embroidery. The pattern carries both the formality of historical textiles and the lively character of folk art.
Printed and embroidered on pure linen in Thailand, it is 133 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 136 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 67 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
