Schumacher | Edith

Edith draws on 19th- and 20th-century neoclassical motifs from the Schumacher archive, its lyre-playing cherubs inspired by a vintage fabric named for Edith Wharton's summer retreat. Stylised shells and jewels are woven into the composition, the whole reading as both historical and surrealist, whimsical but structured.

Printed in the United Kingdom, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 64-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the roll, each 5.027 metres long. It is washable and suits walls throughout the house.
