Schumacher | Eiger Casement

Eiger Casement is a translucent weave with bouclé yarns that form soft, irregular horizontal stripes across the cloth. The texture is airy and tactile, and the pattern undulates gently rather than locking into a strict repeat, so the fabric reads as quietly animate when light passes through it. At nearly three metres wide, it can be hung in large, uninterrupted drops.

Woven in Turkey from a blend of polyacrylonitrile, linen, cotton, viscose, polyester and polyamide, it is 292 centimetres wide with a 24-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds and sheer applications where a soft, diffused light is wanted.
