Schumacher | Elaine Sheer

Elaine Sheer is a casement fabric woven with large-scale abstract shapes and accented by fil coupé fringe details, the irregular weave construction giving it a textural, light-filtering quality. The repeat is generous—320 centimetres vertically, 264 horizontally—so the design needs a long run of windows to show itself whole, where it reads as both graphic and delicate.

Woven in Italy from 46 per cent linen, 33 per cent polyester and 21 per cent hemp, it is 312 centimetres wide and suits curtains, blinds and sheer applications. Hand wash only; the fabric is offered in two colourways.
