Elise Hand-Embroidered Tape, designed by London-based Victoria Bain, draws on Irish Mountmellick embroidery traditions to create a botanical trim of flowers, foliage and berries worked in French knots and padded stitches. The hand-worked detail gives it dimension and a quiet individuality that reads clearly against plain cloth.
Made in India from eighty per cent linen and twenty per cent spun polyester, it is six centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of twenty centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits the leading edges of curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture.
