Schumacher | Ellesmere Ribbon Floral

Ellesmere Ribbon Floral arranges flowers and foliage within a framework of ribbons that weave and loop across the cloth, the botanical motifs contained within the geometry of the ribbon structure. The design has a decorative, formal character, and the interplay between the organic forms and the ordered ribbons gives the pattern both movement and discipline.

Woven in France from cotton, the cloth is 137 centimetres wide with a 90-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the scale of the repeat works well on larger pieces and full-length curtains that allow the ribbon framework to be seen complete.
