Ellie Alpaca Shimmer Sheer is a featherweight horizontal stripe woven with a closed leno construction that gives the cloth exceptional stability despite its delicate appearance. A small percentage of metallic Lurex thread lends a subtle shimmer across the textured surface, the stripe reading as a quiet rhythm rather than a bold statement.

Woven in the United States from rayon, wool, alpaca, polyester and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 9-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains and blinds where a sheer with structure is needed, the alpaca and wool content adding warmth to the hand.
