Elton Cotton Check is a small-scale gingham woven in pure cotton, the sort of modest, well-behaved check that works quietly in almost any room. The three-centimetre repeat keeps it domestic in scale, while the jacquard weave gives the cloth a little more body and interest than a plain print.
Woven in India, it is 137 centimetres wide and machine washable at 40 degrees, which makes it practical for everyday upholstery, cushions, blinds and curtains. The design is available in more than a dozen colourways.
