Schumacher | Elysia Sheer

Elysia Sheer is a double-width gauze with broken horizontal stripes formed by clipped yarns in a fil coupé technique, the cut ends standing proud of the surface to give the cloth a three-dimensional, handworked appearance. The stripe repeats every 46 centimetres vertically and 37 centimetres horizontally, the irregularity of the weave softening the geometry.

Woven in Turkey from a blend of polyester, linen, cotton and viscose, it is 300 centimetres wide and suited to curtains and blinds where its light-filtering quality and artisanal texture can be appreciated. Dry cleaning is recommended.
