Embroidered Tile uses dense fields of embroidery to capture the depth and glaze of ceramic, the stitching giving the cloth unexpected weight and a tactile, almost sculptural surface. Designed by David Kaihoi, the pattern explores tonal variation within a single colour family, so it reads as texture as much as geometry.
Made in India from 35% linen, 23% cotton and 42% spun polyester, it is 130 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 80 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 130 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in four colourways.
