Ephemera is a watercolour stripe printed from hand-painted artwork created in Backdrop's Los Angeles studio. Each vertical line is fluid and slightly irregular, so the pattern has the delicacy of brushwork rather than the crispness of geometry. The mid-scale repeat and open spacing let the design breathe on the wall.
Printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 91-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Sold by the metre from 4.57-metre rolls, it is spongeable and suited to wallcovering. The design is available in several colourways.
