Schumacher | Erindale

Erindale is a patchwork geometric woven from hand-dyed cotton and jute, the two fibres giving the cloth a textural contrast that animates the mid-scale squares. The design balances rustic materiality with graphic order, neither overly refined nor rough.

Woven in India from 70 per cent jute and 30 per cent cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 67-centimetre square repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery where a grounded, tactile cloth is wanted.
