Esther Velvet takes its name from the film star and swimmer Esther Williams and translates fish scales into a tonal cut-velvet pattern. The scales overlap in gentle arcs, their surfaces catching light differently so the design shifts between sheen and shadow as you move around the room. Filament yarns add a quiet shimmer.
Woven in Belgium from viscose, cotton and polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 28-centimetre vertical repeat and a 34-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in four colourways.
