Schumacher | Etched Fern

Etched Fern takes a frond motif from an antique etching and prints it onto linen with the original hatch marks intact, so the pattern has the fine, cross-hatched texture of an engraving. The fern moves in multiple directions across the cloth, which means it can be used without worrying about which way is up, and the repeat—34 centimetres square—is compact enough to work on smaller pieces.

Printed in the United Kingdom on pure linen, the cloth is 137 centimetres wide and comes in two colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, upholstery and cushions, and is also available as a wallcovering for a coordinated scheme.
