Schumacher | Everglades

Everglades is composed of natural feathers applied by hand to create a fine, graphic stripe with a subtle iridescent shimmer. Each feather is gathered and positioned individually, so the wallcovering has both texture and a gentle, shifting lustre as light moves across it. The stripe reads at a small scale—a three-centimetre vertical repeat—so the effect is more textile than ornament.

It is made in Taiwan and sold by the panel, each 97 centimetres wide and just over three metres long. The surface should be vacuumed only, using a soft brush, and it suits walls where a tactile, understated stripe is wanted.
