Ewan's Beasts is a jacquard of fantastical griffins and floral motifs, drawn from the Schumacher archive and woven with a clarity that gives the mythical creatures both presence and restraint. The medium scale reads as sophisticated pattern rather than whimsy, the cotton-linen ground lending a matte, textural finish that tempers the visual detail.
Woven in Italy from 52% cotton and 48% long-staple linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 28-centimetre vertical repeat and a 23-centimetre horizontal. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery, curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstered walls, and is available in three colourways.
