Schumacher | Fenwick Check Velvet

Fenwick Check Velvet is a cut-velvet jacquard with a miniature check woven into the pile. The geometry is small and regular, reading almost as texture from a distance, while the velvet surface catches light differently across each square so the check shifts with the angle of view.

Woven in Belgium from viscose and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a one-centimetre vertical and horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The velvet construction suits upholstery and cushions where a textured, tonal check is wanted.
