Schumacher | Flanders Linen Damask

Flanders Linen Damask is a large-scale floral woven on a specialist loom, the pattern emerging through the weave itself rather than being printed on top. The linen carries a quiet sheen, and the tonal variations are intrinsic to the fibre, so the cloth has depth without contrast.

Woven in France from linen, it is 140 centimetres wide with a 158-centimetre vertical repeat and a 35-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the long repeat comes into its own on floor-length treatments.
