Schumacher | Flower Garden Tapestry

Flower Garden Tapestry is a large-scale floral woven with bouclé weft yarns, the looped threads giving the pattern a textured, almost sculptural surface. The design is drawn from the archive and scaled to suit substantial upholstered pieces where the 105-centimetre vertical repeat and 135-centimetre horizontal can be read in full. The weight and dimension of the cloth come from the weave itself.

Woven in Belgium, it is 87 per cent cotton and 13 per cent polyamide, 135 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, the bouclé construction and floral motif making it particularly effective on sofas, armchairs and ottomans where the texture can be both seen and felt.
