Fortuna takes the scrolling volutes of Ionic columns and abstracts them into a wavy, allover linework that moves across the wall in rhythmic bands. The pattern marries classical reference with contemporary form, digitally printed on a fibrous nonwoven ground that gives the surface a slight texture.
Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 66-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from 9.14-metre rolls. The surface is spongeable and the design is available in several colourways, suited to feature walls or full-room application where a sense of movement is wanted.
