Frances Silk Gimp is a narrow grosgrain ribbon in pure silk, its ribbed weave giving a subtle sheen and a slight body. At one centimetre wide, it is a discreet edging that works well alongside nailheads or layered with other trims. The design draws on French passementerie of the 1930s.
Made in China from silk, it requires dry cleaning only. It suits furniture, lampshades, curtains and cushions, wherever a fine, understated edge is needed.
