Francesca Stripe layers texture upon texture: a fine strié ground overlaid with raised stripes and velvety chenille accents, so the surface catches light unevenly and the stripe acquires depth and richness. The effect is refined rather than showy, the interplay of weave and pile giving the cloth a tactile, considered character.
Woven in Italy from cotton, viscose and acrylic, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 3-centimetre vertical repeat and 17-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery.
