Francestown Coverlet is woven on a traditional handloom in a geometric motif that has its roots in eighteenth-century American textiles. The pattern is mid-scale and the weave gives the cloth a textured, almost tactile surface that reads as craft rather than ornament. The repeat is compact at 15 centimetres in both directions, so the geometry sits close and even across the fabric.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in three colourways and suits cushions and upholstery, where the handloom texture and the coverlet's inherent durability make it a practical choice for pieces in regular use.
