Freeform Embroidered Tape traces a looping, linear design across a linen ground, the embroidery following an irregular, hand-drawn path that reads as spontaneous rather than mechanical. The pattern repeats at ten centimetres, large enough to give each section character, and the linen base keeps the trim from feeling too precious or formal.
Made in India, it is ninety per cent linen and ten per cent viscose, eight centimetres wide with a ten-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions, curtains and upholstery, applied where a more expressive, less symmetrical trim is appropriate.
