Genevieve Embroidered Tape arranges a floral diamond motif in a repeating pattern, stitched onto a cotton faille ground. The embroidery introduces texture and movement, the pattern small enough to read as decoration rather than dominate, and the faille base gives the tape a slight sheen and structure that holds an edge cleanly.
Made in India, it is ninety per cent cotton with ten per cent spun polyester, eight centimetres wide with a two-centimetre vertical repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions, curtains and upholstery, applied where a decorative finish with a floral character is called for.
