Gianna Embroidery is a medium-scale floral damask worked in stitched thread on cotton, the embroidery giving the traditional motif texture and relief. The design has a formal, Old World character, the mélange yarns adding tonal variation so the pattern reads with depth rather than flatness.
Embroidered in India on 100 per cent cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 40-centimetre vertical repeat and 45-centimetre horizontal. It can be cold-washed. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
