Gibson is an abstracted pattern woven in soft chenille yarns against a contrasting ground, the design irregular and loose rather than geometric in the strict sense. The chenille gives the cloth a tactile warmth and a visual softness, the pattern reading as texture as much as decoration.
Woven in Turkey from viscose, polyester, acrylic and linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 69 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. Dry clean recommended, it suits cushions and upholstery.
