Gigi Embroidery sets wavy, hand-drawn stripes alongside small star-like flowers, the embroidery worked over a sturdy union cloth that belies the delicate appearance of the design. The stripes undulate with deliberate irregularity, giving the pattern a relaxed, almost naive charm that reads as texture from a distance and resolves into detail up close.
Made in India, the ground is 44 per cent linen, 36 per cent cotton and 20 per cent polyester, 130 centimetres wide with a modest repeat of 4 centimetres vertically and 5 horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is offered in four colourways.
