Schumacher | Giraffe Velvet Pillow

Giraffe Velvet Pillow is a ready-made cushion in an abstracted animal pattern, worked in cut pile and loop so the surface has both texture and a shifting play of light. The design, called Giraffe Velvet, was revived by request and reads as graphic rather than naturalistic. It is finished with a self-welt edge and comes with a feather-and-down insert and hidden zip.

The cover is woven in India from a blend of 66 per cent viscose and 34 per cent cotton. The cushion measures 51 by 30 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits sofas, armchairs and beds where a textured, mid-scale pattern is called for.
