Gloriette is Happy Menocal's loose, painterly interpretation of the tree of life, a scrolling design filled with fanciful leaves, flowers and butterflies that reads as vibrant and enchanting without tipping into whimsy. The medium scale and free-flowing composition suit rooms where pattern is welcome but formality is not.
Printed in the United Kingdom on a tight linen weave, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 91-centimetre vertical repeat and 46-centimetre horizontal repeat. The all-linen construction is both versatile and resilient, and the cloth is suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery. Cold wash.
