Gunta Cut Velvet sets a linen pile against a cotton loop to create a tone-on-tone animal-inspired pattern that reads through texture alone. The contrast between the two surfaces — one raised and soft, the other recessed and firm — gives the design a quiet, tactile presence. The interplay of materials and construction produces a cloth that feels both robust and refined, with a vertical repeat of ninety-one centimetres and horizontal repeat of sixty-nine centimetres.
Woven in Belgium from linen, cotton and polyester, it is 136 centimetres wide and suited to cushions and upholstery. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in four colourways.
