Halcyon takes the classic bargello motif and translates it into a textural weave where chunky weft yarns move across a multicoloured warp, creating a geometric chevron that shifts in depth and colour as the light changes. The design is railroaded, meaning the pattern runs along the width of the cloth, so long runs can be made without seams interrupting the flow.
Woven in Italy from cotton, viscose and polyamide, it is 144 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 6 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 8 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in five colourways.
