Schumacher | Hamilton Ikat

Hamilton Ikat is a warp-printed cloth with a medium-scale geometric pattern enlivened by abstract motifs that shift and blur in the characteristic manner of ikat weaving. The design has a dry, slightly irregular texture and a rhythm that feels both traditional and informal. The 19-centimetre vertical and 27-centimetre horizontal repeats give the pattern a comfortable scale that works across furniture, cushions and windows.

Printed in India on a blend of 75 per cent cotton and 25 per cent linen, it is 140 centimetres wide and comes in several colourways. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, where the ikat pattern can be appreciated at different scales.
