Hana Sisal sets three oversized chrysanthemum blooms, painted in a loose, gestural hand, onto a natural sisal ground. The flowers are drawn from traditional Japanese botanicals but rendered at a scale that gives them presence rather than decoration, and the sisal base brings texture and subtle variation that changes with the light.
Made in the United States, each roll is 84 centimetres wide and just over 3.6 metres long, with a vertical repeat of 152 centimetres and a horizontal repeat that matches the width. The natural material is best cared for by vacuuming with a soft brush, and it is supplied in three colourways.
