Schumacher | Hanako Ikat

Hanako Ikat is a warp-printed cloth with a scattered floral that has the soft, blurred edges and watery shifts of colour that come from the ikat process, where the warp threads are printed before weaving. The pattern is delicate and dispersed, with a repeat of 56 centimetres vertically and 67 centimetres across.

Printed in Italy on a linen-polyester ground—80 per cent linen, 20 per cent polyester—it is 150 centimetres wide and should be dry-cleaned. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
