Schumacher | Hand Combed Triangles

Hand Combed Triangles is built from layers of hand-raked ink, the triangular geometry emerging from the combed texture rather than a drawn line. The result is a large-scale, three-dimensional surface with a sculptural, almost relief quality, the pattern quiet enough to cover a full wall or a single plane. Subtle variations are intrinsic to the hand-worked process.

Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 137-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the metre from rolls of nearly 14 metres. It can be cleaned with mild soap and water, and suits walls where a textured, geometric presence is wanted without strong colour or contrast.
