Schumacher | Handwoven Silk

Handwoven Silk is a satin-weave cloth in which the structure of the weave itself provides the pattern, the surface smooth and reflective with the characteristic sheen of silk. The texture is subtle, the cloth reading as a plain but with the depth and variation that comes from the hand-weaving process, so it has presence without pattern.

It is handwoven in India from silk and is 102 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the narrower width is well suited to smaller-scale projects or where seams can be used as part of the design.
