Hatchmark Hand-Print is a gestural design of multi-directional lines printed by hand onto linen, inspired by Jasper Johns's Cicada lithographs and created to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States. The rhythmic hatching gives the cloth energy and movement, the medium scale and varied directions preventing any single axis from dominating.
Made in the United States from linen, it is 130 centimetres wide with repeats of 32 centimetres vertically and 64 centimetres across. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
