Schumacher | Hematite

Hematite is a wallcovering composed entirely of natural feathers, each one gathered and applied by hand to create a dense, allover pattern with considerable depth and texture. The feathers overlap in a graphic arrangement, their contrasting tones shifting subtly across the surface as light catches the natural material.

Made in Taiwan, it is supplied in panels 99 centimetres wide and just over three metres long. The surface should be vacuumed only, using a soft brush, and the piece suits feature walls or smaller panelled areas where its tactile presence can be appreciated at close range.
