Heraldic is a printed linen-cotton-nylon blend in which small shields bearing abstract patterns are arranged in rows against a mottled ground. The motifs are rendered with a loose, painterly hand, so the heraldic reference becomes playful rather than formal. The vertical repeat is 45 centimetres, the horizontal 34.

Made in Thailand from 60 per cent linen, 30 per cent cotton and 10 per cent nylon, it is 137 centimetres wide and dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery where a small-scale printed pattern is wanted.
