Hibiscus is an oversized floral print designed by Caroline Z Hurley, inspired by the flowers her mother grew when she was a child. The scale is bold and the colours saturated, so the pattern commands attention on upholstery and makes a statement at the window. The cloth has a supple hand that belies its robust mixed-fibre composition, which includes recycled polyester.
Woven and printed in the United States, it is 138 centimetres wide with a 48-centimetre vertical repeat and a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in five colourways, so it can be tuned to different palettes while keeping its generous, confident presence.
