High Performance Silk Velvet is a silk-cotton velvet engineered to resist staining, so the material's inherent lustre and depth of colour can be used in rooms where practicality usually rules it out. The pile is dense and even, with a subtle pin-dot woven into the surface that adds texture without reading as pattern from a distance.
Woven in Italy from fifty-one per cent silk and forty-nine per cent cotton, it is 140 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, including outdoor use, where the performance finish allows silk velvet to be specified beyond the usual constraints.
