Schumacher | Hix Embroidered Paperweave

Hix is a paperweave embroidered with interlocking diamonds, the stitching worked directly onto the woven paper ground to create a textured, tactile surface. The natural material brings inherent variation in tone and grain, so no two lengths are identical, and the embroidery adds a further layer of relief and shadow.

Made in India, it is 71 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 13 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of ten centimetres. Sold by the metre from rolls of just over seven metres, it should be cleaned by vacuuming with a soft brush and is suitable for wallcovering.
