Hoffmann Velvet takes its geometry from the Viennese Secession, a small-scale diamond pattern worked in loop and pile that gives the cloth a pronounced texture and a tactile, almost three-dimensional surface. The design is disciplined and versatile, the kind of pattern that recedes into architecture rather than competing with it.
Woven in India from viscose and cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 5-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
