Hubert's Bees Tape embroiders small bees in metallic thread on a cotton ground, the motif a nod to Napoleonic insignia without leaning into costume. The satin-stitched insects catch the light quietly, and the four-centimetre vertical repeat keeps the design contained and regular.
Made in India, the tape is woven from seventy per cent cotton, fifteen per cent zari yarn and fifteen per cent rayon viscose, three centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, cushions and curtains where a discreet decorative edge is wanted, and is offered in three colourways.
