Icehouse Hand-Block Print is designed by artist Caroline Z Hurley and inspired by a pond on Martha's Vineyard. The pattern is hand-block-printed onto linen, so each length carries the slight variations and overlaps inherent to the process. The design reads as simple and graphic, with a 48-centimetre vertical repeat and 41-centimetre horizontal repeat, and the hand-printing gives it a softness that machine printing does not.
Made in India from 100 per cent linen, the cloth is 149 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
