Idris Stripe is a medium-scale woven stripe in cotton and jute, the colour variations created by planted warp threads that give the pattern a rustic, handmade quality. The jute adds texture and a certain robustness to the cloth, and the stripe has a global, artisanal character without being overly decorative.
Woven in India, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 27-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions where a textured, multicoloured stripe is wanted, and the natural fibres bring warmth and informality to a scheme.
